Commercial Auction: Summer review 2019 – Sectors

Episode Summary

What property sectors are selling in the commercial auction room? In the second of a series of three podcasts which review the Commercial Property Market in the last six months from an Auctioneers’ perspective.

Episode Notes

Allsop LLP’s partner and auctioneer George Walker speaks to Jo Seth-Smith Fund Manager from OLIM Property.

We examine all the property sectors and how they performed in the auction room, with specific reference to those examples featured in our published summer market review. This includes the reasoning behind some of the very high and low prices that were achieved at auction.

This instalment looks at the increased appetite for office investments, the shift to quality and growth in alternative assets and which areas are offering the right mix of value and security.
