Allsop’s George Walker challenges our team of Experts, Commercial Valuers Freya Morrow and Evie Robertson and Head of Data and Research Seb Verity to myth bust the impact of AI use on Real Estate Valuations and how it integrates with evolving Automated Valuation Models.
This episode of the Allsop Propchat explores how AI has already influenced the production of some of the most comprehensive and accurate valuation reports in the market. While the technology brings clear efficiencies, there are still limitations within current systems that demand the same level of diligence from valuation professionals as ever. Handled in the right way, however, the general view is that the time saved can allow for deeper thinking and ultimately lead to a better product for our clients — who then often use their own systems to summarise our reports.
We also discuss the RICS guidance note, which is in the process of being finalised ahead of its formal adoption in Autumn 2025.
